Aetheric Jewels

Aetheric jewels are the third kind of jewel, and the odd one out. An Aetheric is never mined and never rolls stats. Each one is a unique, hand-made item that changes a rule of the game instead of adding a number, recognisable on sight by its own bespoke art.

What each one actually does is left for you to read off the jewel itself. The effect is written on the item, but this wiki won't spoil the chase.

No two are the same

Each Aetheric jewel rolls its own numbers when it drops, so no two copies are identical — a well-rolled one is genuinely worth comparing against another, and re-farming a better roll is part of the game.

How they differ from rolled jewels

• An Aetheric occupies a normal jewel socket, competing with your rolled Gaian and Therian jewels for the slots you have.
• None of the rolled-jewel tuning reaches it: it has no stat lines, no tiers, and no rarity-capped rolls.
• The Reforging Sigil and Truing Stone do nothing on one — a unique has no modifiers to reroll.
• Aetherics don't appear in the /jewels Catalog. The catalog tracks rollable stats, and an Aetheric has none.
