Atlas Pickaxe Trim

The Atlas Pickaxe Trim is the meteorite half of the Atlas line — the pickaxe trim that pairs with the Atlas armour set.

Since Map III it no longer grants 15% increased mining speed. Like the armour it went with it, the whole Atlas line is now a pure meteorite specialty rather than a general mining upgrade. The rest of what it does is left for those who own one to discover.

Where to get it: mine meteorite showers. No loot table rolls it — it drops straight out of the ground, at a 0.005% chance per shower-spawned meteorite block, or roughly 1 in 20,000. Ordinary meteorites never drop it: only rocks that came down in a shower count, whether the shower fell on its own or was called down with a Meteorite Shower Flare. The Atlas armour set rolls off the same blocks four times as often, so expect the armour long before the pickaxe trim.
