Black Scroll

The Black Scroll is a consumable that extracts a single enchant off an item and tries to recover it as an orb.

Drag it onto a pickaxe or piece of gear and pick an enchant to pull. Only Exceptional levels come back — everything below Exceptional is destroyed by the extraction. A Black Scroll also cannot touch Godly or Calcite enchants at all; for those you need the Abyssal Black Scroll.

The percentage printed on the scroll (50% or 75%) is not an extraction gamble. The pull itself always works on an enchant the scroll can take; the number becomes the success rate of the orb you get back. There are now eight Exceptional levels to pull — Efficiency VI, Momentum VI, Fracture VI, Warp Miner VI, Powerball IV, Lucky IV, Overload IV and Enlighten IV — up from four.

Where to get it: a mid-tier utility item — it turns up in lootboxes, the mid-tier rank kits, and the higher tiers of the clue casket scroll progression.
