Enchant Dust

Enchant Dust is a consumable that improves your odds when rolling enchants.

Drop it into the Wormhole while enchanting and it adds its percentage to the success chance of that roll. Each piece carries a value (3%, 5%, 8%, 10%, 12% and so on), and they stack, so higher-value dust gives a bigger nudge. One dust is consumed per use.

Dust is no longer capped at 99%. Pile enough on and an enchant goes to a guaranteed 100%. A natural, undusted roll still tops out at 99%, so 100% is only ever reachable by dusting.

If you've built up a pile, the Dust Satchel pools it into a single total. Drop the satchel while you're looking at an enchant option and it spends exactly what that option needs to hit 100%, and no more — if the option is already there, it spends nothing.

New in Map III: 32 Enchant Rerolls grind into 1 Enchant Dust worth +5% at the crafting menu.

Where to get it: the bread-and-butter enchanting material — a common drop from bosses, a rare trickle off shades & wraiths, and a reliable haul from the Erebus Guards. It also fills out seasonal crates, often arrives in bulk from crates and boxes, and shows up in rank kits, Rift caches and the KOTH Lootbag, which pays 250% in roughly half of all bags.
