Daily Rift Time

Your time in the Rift is a daily budget, not a per-run limit.

  • You get 15 minutes per day by default.
  • It resets at 11:00 AM Pacific, the same daily boundary the rest of the server's weekly payouts use.
  • Check what's left and the reset countdown with /rift time, or in the /rift menu.

The clock only runs while you're mining

Your time only ticks down while you're actually inside and mining. The short pauses between rounds are free, and time doesn't drain while you're in menus at spawn.

Because of that, your time is pausable and multi-visit. You can leave and come back as many times as you like until your minutes run out. The Rift remembers where you left off (see Rift Points & Shards).

Running low

You get a warning at 30 seconds and again at 10 seconds remaining. When you hit zero, you're eased out cleanly and your inventory is handed back.

Topping up

There's no in-game way to buy more time. The daily budget is the pacing. Staff can grant or reset it with /rift addtime and /rift resettime.

Version history

v2.0.0

  • Introduced a 15-minute daily Rift time budget that only ticks while you're mining; round-swap intermissions are free.
  • Daily time is pausable and multi-visit — leave and return as often as you like until it's spent, with low-time warnings at 30s and 10s.

v3.0.0

  • The daily reset moved to 11:00 AM Pacific.
  • Fortune's Dice no longer grants bonus rift minutes. Its sides are now Meteor, Skywars, Oracle, Black Market Auction, Meteorite Shower and the new Erebus Tear.
