Rift Points & Shards

You earn points by mining, and at the end of each visit they convert into Rift Marks (the currency for the skill tree and caches). You also bank Rift shards as you dig.

Points per ore

Ore Points
Coal 2
Iron 3
Gold 4
Lapis 5
Redstone 6
Diamond 7
Emerald 8

Deepslate variants are worth +1 each. Skill-tree, prestige, and season-pass bonuses (point-doubling chances, point multipliers) stack on top per block.

When you leave, your raw points get your Rift Prestige bonus, then convert into Rift Marks and add to your season total. Check your balance with /rift tokens.

Special blocks

  • Titan's Hoard — a big bonus worth 10× the best ore at your depth (minimum 100 points); the Avarice node makes it pay 1.25× more.
  • Cascading Vein — instantly mines a 5×5 up to 9×9 cube; with the Cascade nodes it grows and can chain into other special blocks.
  • Momentum block — adds 5 minutes to your Momentum timer.
  • Enchant Upgrade block — levels up a random enchant on your Rift pickaxe by 1.

Picking up where you left off

Re-enter the same day and you get back the exact pickaxe you were holding — keeping any in-rift enchant upgrades and its prestige roll — and your points total carries across visits. A fresh pickaxe is only rolled on your first entry of the day.

Shards scale with depth

Rift shards floor at a minimum rarity based on how deep you're mining: the top third floors at Uncommon (no Simple), the middle third at Elite, and the bottom third at Legendary. The deeper you dig, the better your shards. Claim them afterward with /rift claim.

Version history

v2.0.0

  • Rift shards now scale with depth — top floors at Uncommon (no more Simple), middle at Elite, bottom at Legendary.
  • Re-entering the same day resumes your exact pickaxe (keeping its in-rift upgrades and prestige roll) and carries your points across visits.
