Hephaestus Weapon Trim

The Hephaestus Weapon Trim is the forge-god's mark for swords and axes — one of only two weapon trims in the game, and new for Map III.

Its stat lines stay hidden in /trims until the first player applies one. What it grants is left for those who earn it to discover.

It's built to pair with the Hephaestus armour set. Wear the full set alongside the trimmed weapon and its full-set ability, Forgeheat, awakens. Without the set you still get the trim's own passives; the ability needs all four pieces.

Like every trim ability, Forgeheat no longer posts a chat line when it fires — since Map III a proc announces itself with a bigger particle burst and a louder sound instead.

Where to get it

Hephaestus himself. The weapon trim rolls from the same boss loot table as the Hephaestus armour trim and is considerably scarcer than it, so most players complete the armour set well before the weapon turns up.

Summoning Hephaestus is gated by the Server Fund alone — he opens at Fund tier 4 and no longer asks for a player level or a prestige. See Boss Summoning for the key and the altar.
