Heart of Gaia — Ancients Wiki

Deep in the stone of Tartarus, something older than the prison still beats. The Heart of Gaia is the rarest thing you can pull from the ground — a relic of the primordial earth. It carries a rarity all its own: Ancient, a tier no other enchant will ever wear.

It is no longer a one-per-season find. The drop announcement now reads a Heart of Gaia rather than the season's Heart of Gaia, because more than one can surface in a season, but don't count on seeing a second.

Most players will mine a lifetime and never see one. Those who have speak of a pickaxe that seems to remember every block it breaks — growing quietly, patiently stronger the longer it's carried.

Beyond that, the Heart keeps its secrets. How it's found, what it awakens into, and how far it can grow are left for those who hold one to learn.
