Unlike a regular lootbox, a crate always pays out in full. Every open gives you 10 guaranteed relics plus a guaranteed jackpot roll — there's no "better luck next time" outcome here.
What you're guaranteed
The relic pool is built around real value, not filler — expect a spread of booster boxes, orbs, Ancient Energy, boss keys and progression-grade goodies, refreshed for Map III. The exact mix is left for you to discover on the open.
The jackpot
Every open also fires a guaranteed jackpot roll. The pool ranges from stacks of boosters all the way up to the headline chases — think a permanent rank, a Season Pass, or last map's Map II crate. The rarest prizes are exactly that: rare. What you actually pull is the fun part.
What it will never give you
The crate is deliberately fenced off from progression-defining gear. No armour, weapon or pickaxe trims, no offhands, and nothing rift-exclusive ever appears — the crate is an accelerator and a flex, not a shortcut around the content you're meant to earn.
Runes went with the dungeon system, so the older Map II crate no longer carries sealed runes, rune polishers, socket salvagers, Scrolls of Fate or Hermes' Bargains either.
The open animation
The Tartarus crate has a signature, one-of-a-kind open. Stone, deepslate and gold blocks streak in and assemble a floating vault-temple around you. The vault cracks open and your loot rises out one piece at a time — best item last — before the temple crumbles into the abyss.
