The Obol Store

The Obol Store is where you spend Obols. Open it with /store (it's available in the game world, not in the hub lobby). Your Obol balance is shown at the top, and every purchase shows a confirm step before any Obols are deducted — you can't buy something by mis-clicking. Confirm sits on the right, Cancel on the left. If your inventory is full when a purchase arrives, the item goes to your stash — pick it up with /collect.

Ranks & Upgrades

Rank papers grant a permanent rank that does not reset between seasons. Each tier is cumulative — it includes everything from the tiers below it. The paper arrives as an item; right-click it to apply the rank. See Ranks for what each tier unlocks.

Already own a permanent rank? An upgrade moves it up a tier and costs exactly the price difference between the two papers.

Season Pass

The paid track of the Season Pass costs 3,000 Obols — a one-time purchase per season. You get a claimable pass item that's tradeable until claimed, so you can gift it to someone else. Once claimed, the paid rewards are retroactive on every tier you've already earned this season.

Ancient Crates

A premium crate with guaranteed loot every open: 10 guaranteed relics plus a guaranteed jackpot roll. The season-2 launch crate is the Tartarus Map II Crate, which opens with a one-of-a-kind floating-vault animation. (Current dev code still stocks the Map I crate at 5,000 Obols — the live id and price land at launch.)

Global Boosters

Global boosters are server-wide: when you pop one, everyone online benefits, and they stack with personal boosters. See Boosters for how the multipliers layer.

The Energy Booster boosts Ancient Energy gains, and the Mystery box rolls one of the four types at random.

GKit Flares

A GKit Flare summons a god-tier kit from the sky — place it and the drop lands after 30 seconds. Flare gear is capped at Diamond tier, and store-bought flares have a chance to also contain a GKit Beacon.

Weekly Loot Boxes

The old General Items shelf is gone, replaced by a rotating Weekly Loot Box — a fresh themed box each rotation, with the exact drop chance shown next to every item. Buy one for 1,000 Obols, or a bundle of three for 2,500. The launch box is the ✦ Descent Cache. See Weekly Loot Boxes for the current rotation, and Lootboxes & Crates for how boxes work in general. This store tile is sale-gated — it only appears while a store sale is running.

Looking for something specific like Fortune's Dice? Those world-event rolls now live with the rest of the special items rather than on a fixed store shelf.
