Chat Games
Chat games are quick brain-teasers that pop up in chat for everyone on the network at once. Be fast and be right — the prizes are worth the fifteen seconds of panic.
How it works
Roughly once an hour, a short countdown appears in chat, followed by the question. You have 15 seconds to type the answer in chat.
There are two kinds of games:
| Game | What you do |
|---|---|
| Unscramble | A scrambled word appears — type the original word. The first letter is shown capitalized to give you a starting point. |
| Math | A quick mental-math problem — anything from simple addition and multiplication to percentages, fractions, squares, and factoring puzzles. |
A few things to know before you blurt something out:
- Your first message during a game counts as your guess. A wrong answer locks you out of that round — so think before you type.
- Correct answers are hidden from chat, so nobody can copy yours.
- More than one player can win the same game — the fastest few correct answers all get rewarded, then the round ends and the answer is revealed.
- If nobody gets it in time, the answer is announced and everyone waits for the next round.
Rewards
Every winner gets two things:
- A prize — most often a bundle of Ancient Energy; sometimes rarer items such as nametags, home expansions, meteor flares, booster boxes, enchant dust, or a mystery contraband box.
- A booster — 25% more XP, Ancient Energy, ore, and shards for 10 minutes.
If you win while you're inside an active rift, your item prize is sent to your /stash so it doesn't get lost mid-fight.

Chat games are one of the first features unlocked through the server Fund each season (/fund).
