LMS (Last Man Standing)

LMS is a king-of-the-hill style standoff inside The Pit of Erebus. Stand in the circle, hold it against all comers, and get paid for every minute you survive.

Where to find it

The Pit of Erebus is reached through the /warp menu. It requires level 60, and it unlocks for the season once the community completes Fund III (/fund). Fair warning: the Pit is a PvP zone and you do not keep your inventory if you die there.

The LMS spot itself is a circle of red terracotta on the Pit floor — that circle is "the cap".

How it works

  • One player holds the cap at a time. The first player to stand in the circle while it's free becomes the holder — and the whole server is told about it, so expect company.
  • Anyone else who steps in is told the cap is taken. To claim it, you'll have to make the holder leave... one way or another.
  • You're combat-tagged the entire time you hold the cap — logging out or running is treated like combat.
  • Step out of the circle (or die) and your timer resets. The cap is then free for the next player.

Rewards

While you hold the cap, rewards flow every minute:

  • A payout of Ancient Energy and an XP bottle, both scaled to your level — holding the cap pays out at a rate comparable to active mining at your level.
  • A bonus item roll — usually more Ancient Energy, with rarer hits including money notes, perk swaps, kill trackers, stat rerolls, vault expansions, and booster G-Kit flares.

Every 5 minutes, an Erebus Guard spawns on you — kill it or it ends your run for you. The server is told when this happens, so long streaks paint a target on your back.

At 15 minutes, you earn the daily special reward — either a Fortune's Dice or a Global Booster Box. This one is once per day, no matter how many times you hold the cap.

Holding the cap also advances "Stay in LMS" tasks on clue scrolls.
