Tartarus Prestige (P11)
Tartarus Prestige is the 11th and final pickaxe prestige — and it plays by its own rules. It isn't another step on the Path of the Ancients; it's a one-time capstone that turns your pickaxe into something that periodically detonates the mine around you.
The Tartarus Sigil gate
Unlike P1–P10, you can't just hit the requirement and prestige. You must first apply a Tartarus Sigil to the pickaxe — without one, the prestige is locked.
The Sigil is among the rarest finds in Tartarus — left for the worthy to uncover. It surfaces from the Tartarus Rift Cache (T3) chase pool — see Rift Shop & Caches. It's also listed among the server's special items.
The requirement
P11 no longer asks a flat 50M blocks on every tier. It now runs its own ladder, which drops off far more steeply than the 60/70/80/90/100% taper P1–P10 uses — the point being that a lower-tier pickaxe can reach Tartarus without first clearing the netherite gate at mining level 102.

As with every prestige, only blocks broken by that specific pickaxe count, higher-tier ores feed lower-tier requirements, and Calcite, Ancient Debris and Emerald each count as more than one block. The energy column is a guide — the prestige menu shows the exact figure before you commit.
What P11 grants
Completing Tartarus Prestige gives your pickaxe a spectacle perk: a large-scale mining effect that charges as you mine and fires on its own the moment it fills. There is no button to press and nothing to remember — you just mine, and every so often the mine erupts.
- A charge bar tracks your progress while you're mining, and shows the perk that's building.
- A discharge really breaks blocks. Unlike Shatter, the blocks it hits turn to stone and regenerate on their normal timers, so it leaves a visible hole rather than silently paying out of an untouched wall.
- Each perk pays differently. They don't all hand you the same blend of ore, XP and Ancient Energy — picking a perk is partly picking what you want to farm.
- Perks roll a magnitude. Two pickaxes with the same perk can differ in its size, count or duration, so there's a good roll and a bad one to chase. The Tartarus menu lists every spectacle perk alongside its roll range, so you can see what you're picking from before you choose.
A Tartarus pickaxe no longer zeroes your other stats. The old Pure Insight / Pure Conduit / Pure Vein trade — one resource multiplied, the other two removed entirely — is gone. P11 never costs you XP, energy or ore, and normal mining on a P11 pickaxe is untouched, so it's never worse than a P10.
Note that P11 grants only this Tartarus perk. It does not also award an extra base stat, unlike the one-reward-per-level layout on earlier prestige levels covered in Pickaxe Prestige Rewards.
The Tartarus Reroll
Locked into a choice you regret, or got a low roll? A Tartarus Reroll item lets you re-open the picker and choose your spectacle perk again. Its menu can also be spent on a guaranteed max roll for one of your existing path perks or base stats instead — one use, one choice, and the item is consumed either way. Like the Sigil, it's a rare pull from the T3 Rift Cache chase pool.
