Mining Enchants on Armour

Season 2 adds a whole line of mining enchants that socket onto your armour — helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots. They sit alongside, and compete for slots with, your combat enchants, so every set is a choice: lean toward fighting, or toward digging. A full mining set turns your armour into a second source of mining power on top of your pickaxe enchants. They're one branch of the wider Enchants system.

How they work

Each enchant's effect sums across all four pieces, up to that enchant's cap. Spreading the same enchant over several pieces stacks it; piling everything onto one slot wastes the cap. You roll them from the Wormhole on gear, and the Godly one — Touch of Plutus — comes from a Mystery Godly Enchant Orb.

Because base mining is slower across the board this season (see Mining), the speed boosts matter again — Hermes' Pace is one of the enchants that genuinely changes how fast you progress.

Stat enchants

These give a steady, always-on bonus that scales with how many pieces carry the enchant.

Enchant Rarity What it does
Haggler Common Increased ore sell value
Apprentice's Vigor Common Increased mining XP
Lodestone Uncommon More shards
Surveyor Uncommon More clue scrolls
Goldvein Elite Increased ore sell value
Hermes' Pace Elite Increased mining speed
Stoneblood Elite Ore respawns faster around you
Charon's Cut Elite Reduced extract tax

Calcite Seeker has been removed along with Calcite Charges — see Calcite Enchants for how calcite works now.

Proc enchants

These don't tick steadily — they roll for a chance on the blocks you mine.

  • Aftershock (Legendary) — chance a mined block counts as a full second break, granting its rewards twice. The roll re-rolls on every drop and every proc.
  • Oracle's Eye (Legendary) — chance a clue scroll surfaces as a casket instead.
  • Touch of Plutus (Godly) — chance a block turns golden and sells for a fortune, straight to your balance.

All three now scale with your increased proc chance — from trims, jewels and pickaxe prestige perks — and with the Lucky on their own armour piece.

Lucky on armour

Lucky can be socketed onto armour, where it grants 10% increased proc rate per level (up to 40% at Lucky IV) for the enchants on that same piece. On armour that means the piece's mining procs: put Lucky and Aftershock on the same chestplate and the Lucky boosts it; put them on different pieces and it does nothing for it.

Lucky IV comes from an Exceptional Enchant Orb only.

Mining or combat?

Your armour can't do both at once. Mining enchants share slots with combat enchants, so a digging set trades away defensive and offensive power, and vice versa. Keep a spare set if you want to swap between grinding and fighting — see Gear & Armour for how sets and slots work.
