Selling & the Shop

There's no sell command on Ancients — everything you mine is sold the moment you break it. Proceeds are paid as Money Notes that stack in your inventory, and your earnings tick by on the action bar as you mine. This section covers how auto-selling works, what each ore is worth, and the /shop catalogue.

How selling works

You're paid full value everywhere — the old 15% sell tax on mining outside safe zones is gone, so money notes always hold the complete sale value no matter where you break the block. Pickaxe trims and outpost buffs raise your sell value on top.

To turn notes into spendable balance, right-click them in a safe zone to bank them. To go the other way, use /withdraw <amount|all> in a safe zone to pull money back out as a note — notes can be dropped, traded, or handed to gangmates.

A few things change what you actually earn per block: the stat enchants Haggler and Goldvein (increased ore sell value) both feed in. See Enchants for the details. The Touch of Plutus armour proc can also turn a freshly-mined block golden and sell it for a fortune straight to your balance.

Mining generators no longer drop sellable ore. Their crude output now produces Gang Points instead of money. See the Gangs pages for that loop.

Sell prices

Open /sellprices in-game for the full price menu. A sample of what blocks pay when sold:

Item Sells for
Coal Ore $0.02
Calcite $10.94
Stone $0.00

Calcite now sells for $10.94 per block (doubled from $5.47) which makes a Calcite Caverns run a much stronger money grind. Deepslate variants of an ore sell for a little more than the regular version (now +10%, down from +15%).

The Shop (/shop)

/shop opens the server shop — it works in safe zones and inside your own cell. Categories cover Armour, Weapons, Pickaxes, Food, Cell Items, and a large Decorations catalogue. /gens jumps straight to the Cell Items page.

The Weapons stall now sells wands and bows whole, alongside the swords and axes, no more assembling them from cores and components. Prices per tier:

Tier Wand / Bow price
Wood $300
Gold $3,000
Iron $30,000
Diamond $300,000

Netherite isn't sold here — Surtr in the netherite mine forges netherite wands and bows for 100 Infernal Scrap each, the same price as his other weapons. Fresh wands and bows arrive with no stored energy: click Ancient Energy onto one to charge it before firing.

The Decorations catalogue was massively expanded for Season 2 — dedicated pages for Stairs, Slabs, Walls, Fences & Gates, Doors & Trapdoors, Copper, Lighting, Wool & Carpet, Banners & Beds, Nether & End, and Workstations, all priced cheap so you can build out your cell without breaking the bank.

Looking to earn faster? Most of your income comes from mining the right blocks, and prestiging your pickaxe opens perks that boost what you take home.
